Yayoi Market City

The NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority has officially granted Yayoi, located on Level 3 of Market City in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown, a Restaurant Licence. Back Schwartz Vaughan was pleased to assist Yayoi in opening their fourth restaurant in Sydney first with an initial Interim Restaurant Authorisation, and now a fully-fledged Restaurant Licence.

Yayoi specialises in teishoku, a set meal which is commonly cooked at home in Japan. Teishoku focuses on nutritional balance and aestheticism. Yayoi brings balance directly to the customer with a range of delicious and traditional meals. The menu itself has not been adopted to cater to Australian tastes, instead it has been directly imported from Japan and as a result is a highly authentic culinary experience. Patrons of Yayoi can expect delicious and traditional Japanese meals, cooked with high quality Australian ingredients, and served alongside a wide range of both domestic and imported beverages.
