The team at BSV are delighted to have assisted Dexus Funds Management Limited in the successful changes to the existing liquor licences for Cafe Courtyard and Paradiso at the MLC Centre. The MLC Centre (which is one of Sydney’s landmark buildings) is in the final stages of its significant transformation. It comprises a 60 storey office tower, 4 levels of retail/food and drink tenancies, the Theatre Royal, five levels of car parking and a large north-facing publicly accessible plaza comprising paved areas, landscaping and restaurants/cafes with outdoor seating. The approval of the Applications effectively moved each liquor licence from one location to another in the MLC Centre. As part of the Applications, the liquor licences were successfully endorsed with both primary service authorisations and extended trading authorisations allowing trade to 2.00am. A change of trading name will be made for each liquor licence before they recommence trade.
