Hunter Valley Resort, Pokolbin

Congratulations to the owners of the Hunter Valley Resort, Pokolbin, on the recent approval of their change of boundaries applications. The Resort proposed changes to move their existing licences (namely a restaurant and bottleshop) to a neighbouring property.  This would normally trigger the requirement to prepare a Community Impact Statement (the more complex Category B CIS for the bottleshop, and a Category A CIS for the restaurant because of an existing primary service authorisation endorsed on the restaurant licence).   The preparation of any type of CIS adds expense and time to the process.  However, the specialised team at BSV identified how the process could be streamlined and approached the NSW Liquor and Gaming for a direction.  The Liquor and Gaming agreed with our submission and allowed the licences to be moved to an adjoining property through a change of boundaries application (without the requirement for any community impact statement).  By utilising our industry leading knowledge and experience, we circumvented the usually required CIS process altogether and provided our client with a cheaper and quicker path to the same result. We are proud to have assisted such a fabulous business and highly recommend you visit their website https://www.hunterresort.com.au/ .  Applications to the L&G or ILGA can often be difficult but there is no job too complex for Back Schwartz Vaughan. We provide our clients with the cheapest and quickest means of achieving their goals. If you require assistance, please contact one of our friendly staff on (02) 8383 3777.
