The BSV team are pleased to announce the successful application by Smalls Cellars Pty Ltd for the grant of a new packaged liquor licence at Kirrawee (in Sutherland Shire). Our team provided expert guidance to ensure this small exciting and different independent liquor store, situated among other shops in Kirrawee, received a successful outcome before the NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority.
At BSV, we recognised the positive impacts Smalls Cellars could have on the local community and we worked diligently to create a Community Impact Statement that balanced the public interest benefits for the licence against the prevention of harm associated with the abuse of alcohol. As a result, Smalls Cellars can now provide a packaged take-away liquor service to the community of Kirrawee, while maintaining a commitment to the responsible service of alcohol.
