BSV’s licensing team are pleased to have acted for Daiwa Food Corporation (Syd) Pty Ltd on their successful application for a producer/wholesaler (wholesale only) licence at their Alexandria warehouse. Given its wholesale only classification, the business is restricted to selling liquor products to other licensed venues such as restaurants and hotels under a wholesale arrangement. This site also features a click and collect type facility for their customers. This licensing option has increased in popularity. It allows flexible wholesale trade, such as liquor sales via e-commerce, and is suitable for businesses operating out of office suites, warehouse venues or even home businesses.
The approval represents a crucial step for Daiwa Food Corporation’s business operation as it is now permitted to distribute liquor products by wholesale throughout NSW. This capability broadens an already strong product offering to the business, that is a recognised Japanese food importer and distributor business.
