The BSV team are pleased to have assisted Johnston Bros Pty Ltd in successfully applying for a new hotel licence at the historic O’Connell Hotel. Located in a small village approximately 23 km from Oberon in the central tableland region of NSW, the longstanding hotel licence was cancelled and therefore required a replacement licence. The expertise of the BSV team ensured a successful application allowing a historic country pub with a public bar, function area, dining space and an outdoor beer garden to continue to provide a service to its community.
Acknowledging the welcoming approach of the O’Connell Hotel regarding children, the hotel licence application was enhanced with a minors area authorisation, ensuring the dining facilities welcomed the whole family. These premises are about to open after undertaking extensive renovation and preparing itself for an exciting opening and the continued provision of hotel food and beverage facilities for this community.
