The BSV team successfully advised and guided Temple Bay Coogee with four successful applications before the NSW Liquor and Gaming and the NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority. With the assistance of our specialist team, Temple Bay obtained a change of licensed boundaries, a change of licence condition (trading hours), a change of primary service authorisation footprint, and an extended trading authorisation.

The BSV team are pleased to have once again assist the Endeavour Group Limited with their recent successful grant of a packaged liquor licence at North Rocks.

The BSV team congratulates the Cardiff Brewery on their recently approved producer/wholesaler licence application. Set within the Wests Cardiff Club premises, the Cardiff Brewery is a small batch brewery with a focus on craft beers that will be sold by the Wests Cardiff Club.

As of 15 March 2023, Liquor & Gaming NSW increased their lodgement fees across all application types. For example, the total application fee for a Small Bar licence application has increased to $437 and a packaged liquor licence application has increased to $2,501.  The lodgement fee for an on-premises licence is now $875.

We are very happy to have successfully assisted the Endeavour Group Limited in undertaking the process of a double change of licensed boundaries application for the Dan Murphy’s store in Carnes Hill. The double “redefinition” of the licence moved it from the original location to its new location.

BSV’s liquor licensing team are pleased to have worked with the owners of Good Spirits, Food & Wine, Tweed Heads on their recently approved packaged liquor licence removal application. To preserve the business’ interests of the packaged liquor licence it was moved to a nearby location in Tweed Heads West where the licence is now “parked” in a dormant capacity pending its future activation at the same site.

In addition to the Hotel General Bar Licence, the application includes a now approved Minors Area Authorisation, that allows children in the Hotel in the company of a responsible adult.
